• This has got to be the strangest gangster/supernatural/action packed love story I've ever read ( AND I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT)!!! This is Noah and Mary Jane's story,an under world gangster and a comedian/college student. The description of the book tells you everything you need to know about how they meet. But there's so,so much more going on. You get a glimpse in the crazy life of a crime boss who runs a whole city. Him falling in love for the first time with his at first unwilling captor. Loyalties of friendships broken and rubbed for the sake of unrequited love. An evil forest and am haired house. Ok,folks that's all I'm saying without giving the whole book away. This is BW/WM very different probably then anything in the IR genre you've probably ever read. But this book is a whirlwind of everything you'd thought you'd never see in this kind of book but it somehow all flows just right together. You'll laugh,cry,be weirded out but won't be able to stop reading or cheering for not only the main two characters but also the supporting cast who all form a family together.. Oh,and it also had some very steamy,sweat your hair out HAWT,SEXY TIME!!!
• Lovers and sociopaths take over Din City.... there’ll be hell to pay if it all goes wrong. Noah has got to protect his love, MJ at all costs; MJ can’t tell a good joke to save her life, and everyone else lost their minds a long time ago!
  Power is a great, once-in-a-blue moon romance that has everything; an awesome H/h, smexiness, romance, murder, gansta, touched crazy folks, bit of the supernatural, and a fantastic ending-ish (epilogue reads like there’s more to come).
  Read it, you’ll enjoy it.
• Not only did this book have me laughing, but it was crazy action, love romance, supernatural in one book and I actually really enjoyed every part of it. Some of those character were crazy including our main female lead MJ. Most woman would have run especially an older woman. MJ although scared, fit right in with all the dysfunction among the characters. I loved Noah but he is the craziest of them all. Just the people he knew and the things he did was cray cray. I really did not expect the supernatural aspect but it was very interesting. Loved the jokes at the beginning of the chapters. I hope after I write this review that there is a Book 2 because I was definitely left hanging. Interesting read.
• Oh-My-Goodness, for a white boi, Noah is that PHINE, FOXY, HANDSOME, Thuggish and cut throat gangster!! He’s a take charge kinda Boss of Din City. Killing, making moves, stacking money and STILL make it home in time for dinner to romance the little lady. Mary Jane is the “little lady” that has flipped his whole game upside down! His entire squad doesn’t know what to make of his change. But this new NOAH is adorable!!! I’ll have BOTH versions, please . I LOVE this story! Ms. Kenya has done done it again with this one. bound 🚗 for book #2
• This book was filled with non-stop drama. Mary Jane and Noah made the perfect couple because they were complete opposites. The sex was great and not over the top like in some books I have read. The author also had me laughing out loud on several parts in the book! The side characters were funny as heck and it made the story flow. It still had the mafia feel to it and Noah was in charge for the most part. I am not going to give the book away but trust me when I say you will enjoy this book!
• Loved Noah and Mj! Noah knew what he wanted and wasted no time getting his woman! Loved how she won him and his men over! Sex was off the chain. This book had everything romance, humor, fabulous sex, suspense and drama! It was also very dark and violent. The violence was a bit much but overall it was so worth it. Would love to hear more about them and the crew like crusher and harmony. Fuji, Mo, and 350. I would also like to know how they handled Aripostle's betrayal!
• I am a HUGE fan of Kenya's writing style, dark characters, and sometimes eery storylines. This book felt like it was written in a rush. The main character's connections and the likelihood of events were too far fetched. Would a real "g", that deep in the game, reveal that much to a random person? I think not. Very tough read because of the lacking connection.
• At first I was so confused with this story it's not your normal mafia story. This book had me laughing at so many parts I couldn't believe how the crew was that the hero Noah had was. They were crazy yet funny and the heroine Mary Jane fit right in with them. She was crazy yet funny. In spite of it I couldn't put the book down. I actually enjoyed it.
