- First off..this book is INCREDIBLE! Throughout reading it all I could think about was how I wish I had something like this book when I was going through the process of choosing adoption. I cried multiple times as I reminisced and was reminded of how far I have come in my adoption journey. This book really helps to outline exactly what to expect when experiencing an unplanned pregnancy and choosing an open adoption. SO well-written and thoughtful. Truly touched my heart in ways I did not know possible. This is a MUST read!
